It’s time for a short break – a couple of weeks off before facing the joys of teaching myself the new spec. By training I’m an economist, and although I’ve been teaching business for more than 15 years I’ve never actually studied it. I suspect the subject knowledge for this new A-level will require a bit more than a wing and a prayer, so I’ve got three weeks of August allocated to teaching myself.
